Day 1 (Dec 2) Matthias got his hearing aids today around 2p.m. He wore them for about 5 hours before he had a major meltdown like I have never seen before. When Katie put his hearing aids in, he seemed to sit still like he "may" be hearing something. It is hard to tell. He seemed to respond a little when Kevin was drumming on the table, but it was hard to tell if it was a visual or auditory response. He paused a few times and got the "Deer in the headlights" look, but again I am not sure if it is an auditory response.
Day 2 (Dec 3) Matthias did not hear with his hearing aids.
Dec 16 Matthias' hearing aids got turned up.
Dec 18 We took Matthias to my Niece's choir concert and we think Matthias heard a little.
Dec 23 We think Matthias was able to hear certain pitches on my sister's phone.
