I haven't been able to post in a while since life has been so crazy.
Kaitlyn has been struggling a ton with her Aspergers. She is really anxious about the start of a new school year. She can barely sit still. We just found out who is teachers are for next year are. She has team teachers for her first grade class. One teaches in the morning and the other teaches in the afternoon. Then they alternate on Fridays. I'm a little worried about how she will deal with that. Her doctor decided to start her on a second medication to see if it helps. We started it today. Praying it helps.
Brittany had a hearing test done yesterday. As per her usual she did not pass :( I was a little surprised by how bad her hearing has gotten. She needs hearing aids. We are in the process of trying to get them ordered. I hope they come in before school starts so she can get used to them for a while first. We are hoping they will be here by Friday or Monday at the latest. I hope she keeps them in. Kindergarten is so important, and I would like for her to be able to hear what is being taught.
Alyssa is still being aggressive. I'm still thinking she may have the same disorder as Kaitlyn. I hope to follow up with that in about 6 months.
I will be posting some pics and more about life in a few days. On a positive note... our dryer is finally fixed after 3 weeks, and my grandparents and Cody will be here tonight from California. I can't wait to spend some time with them!!!
