Puppy and cute Alyssa

Well, I haven't blogged in a week or so, and let me tell you that a LOT has happened. 

My parents are moving into their own place, We are moving (although we don't know where yet), We have been running around like crazy trying to figure everything out, oh ya, and we bought a puppy.

The puppy thing was kind of an impulse buy, but how can you deny this little face???

 He lets the girls hold him like a baby and they LOVE it!!

 Brittany likes to help him dance too..... I know you are thinking poor puppy.... he actually likes it.... he was made for our crazy family LOL

 I think he already thinks he is human, and he does not think he should have to be in this thing very often.....

Although on a plus side, he whines every time he needs to go potty..... 4 or 5 times now :) Pretty awesome for an 8 week old little guy.

 Oh yes and he also cries if he does not have a blanket or if he is being held.... This isn't what I had in mind when I said I was going to adopt a boy, but it will have to do for now ;)

So, I have to add how we came to buying this little guy.... We told the girls that when we moved we were going to get a puppy or a dog. I am allergic to dogs, so we were looking for a dog that is hypo allergenic and doesn't shed..... Apparently they are not that easy to come by, but we figured we would start looking just for fun. So, I told the girls I would take them to an adoption event at Petsmart today..... They had 2 whole dogs..... Both were labs which didn't work for us... We shopped around to get prices for everything we would need for a dog.... Then we headed to WalMart to buy some things we needed.... My dad (who swears he does not like dogs and is the reason we didn't already have one) says awww look how cute Jaclyn there on the left. I look over and see a sign for Shih Tzu puppies. My dad encourages me to pull over. I send a pic to my hubby.... his response..... "buy it", so I did...... He is a pure bred and cute as a button. We wanted a dog for Kaitlyn because they say children with Aspergers do well having an animal to care for..... All 3 of our girls just love him.... I think he loves them too.... He already chases them around the yard... It is so cute....

Now a few cute things Alyssa did today.......

The puppy is in his crate crying. Alyssa sneaks into the kitchen and kneels next to him. She says "Mom, the puppy is really sad. Maybe he wants something." She proceeds to ask him what he wants..... do you want to get out? Do you need me to hold you? Do you need to go potty? Then she gets an idea.... "Oh, I know. You miss your mommy and daddy. It's okay I am right here." She is so cute and so smart for 2. She was supposed to be in bed, but she was so cute that I couldn't get mad lol

Earlier when we were in the car, right after we had bought Patch, She is holding the dog and says "He likes me the best" The competition begins lol.... He also licked her (and only her), and she says mommy he lick- ded me.... She is adorable!!!
