This is what fully funded looks like!!!

This year for Christmas, I cannot buy Adam any gifts ...... That does not mean I cannot fill his stocking up.
I'm feeling it with love.... These are the names of all the people that helped bring Adam home.
I am sure I missed a few, but these are the people who have prayed, donated and loved Adam.
Next year I will be able to love on him, but for now.... I fill his stocking with the love of his Army!!
With the love of all of you plus our amazing matching donor, Chris Penn, we will be fully funded!!!!!!!
Our stockings :)
 Poppy's and Grandma's stockings
Our Christmas courtesy of Santa and Grandma and Poppy.
We are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives!!
Santa enjoyed his milk and cookies.... Plus he took the carrots for the reindeer.
We sure had fun making those cookies too

 Tyson's
 Little Kevin's
 Brittany's
 Ryan's
 Alyssa's
 Kaitlyn's
Last night we tried to make Graham Cracker houses..... This is Alyssa'a
Aunt Veronica and I helped her.... we are good at this
This is Ian's that Troy helped with..... We called it the manger.
This is Brittany's. Kevin helped her..... He is a construction worker.
I think that is kinda like cheating!!
Emily has Uncle Kevin help her too!
Ian did a 2nd one with Uncle Kevin's help!
Britt gave up on the whole house thing and made a "Big Mac"
Brittany wants to leave this for Santa.... I can see the headlines now... Santa found dead at the Mitchell home due to a sugar overdose. It is said that Troy and Veronica supplied the sugar..... and they think gun control will stop murder. hehe
Veronica decided to give this another try since her first one turned out so well....
She did awesome!!

Kait made one too, but she would not let me take a pic because it kept falling.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Christmas Message!!

I have always known the TRUE meaning of CHRISTmas!!
I have always tried my best to focus on Christ and giving rather than presents and Santa.
Tonight I have felt what the true meaning of Christmas really is....
It all started when I heard the following words in an all popular Christmas song...
For unto us a child is born. For unto us a son is given.
These words are referring to Christ.
Our brother. Our Savior.
Someone I struggle everyday to be more like...
Selfless.
Loving.
Unjudging.
Caring.

Then a few days ago, a person I had never met offered me a Christmas gift.
He is helping me bring my son home as so many others have.
For unto us our son is given!!

As if this is not enough....
My brother and sister invited us over for Christmas Eve dinner and activities.
They did everything for us.....
They made us a delicious meal, had a fun activity for the kids, had us watch a movie, and went with us to look at lights....

The movie taught me a lesson that I needed to hear!!!
The movie was called Timothy Green
It was about adoption.
It reminded me that ALL Children are a blessing!
ALL children are a gift.
They are the greatest gift ever!!!
Children is what Christmas is all about!!!
Even the bible says that we should be like a little child!!
This is the gift God gave us!!
This is the gift you all gave me!!!
This is my perfect child!!
He is perfect in my eyes!!
God is good!!!
These are his children!!!!
I have cried for a long time now!!!

On top of everything else.....
I got home from looking at lights with my family and this is what I found....
The letter says As a family we decided that we would not get gifts for each other this year, but instead give the money we would have spent to another family in need.

Merry Christmas

Love,
????????
This jar was with it... It had $216 dollars in it.... I am beyond blessed!!!!
Our God is the same and he loves us all!!!!!

 Our main living room

Adam's stocking is the red one... until he gets home and can pick his own
This morning the girls got out all the money from the piggy banks... They thought they would have $200 raised for brother. They had $95. I asked for my friends to help make the difference.....
We have had $8 donated so far... Can we get another $97 tonight??
I hope so.... Britt came up later, but I was too busy rolling to get another pic.
we added a few rolls after this
Thank you to all the amazing people that have donated, prayed and shared.
