An Angel gets adopted.

December 20, 2011 will go down in my history as an AMAZING day!!!
A sweet little girl, Stacey, was adopted by two amazing people. I am lucky enough to call them family and friends!!! We got to go out to dinner with them to celebrate this special day.
I know you all are shocked, but I did not take a single photo :(
I was not feeling well and it completely skipped my mind.

The beautiful family!!!

Families times and cookie making!

We spent the entire day Sat spending time together as a family.... unfortunately some time between posting the pics from the park lights Friday night and Sat morning my Camera vanished......
Last last night by hubby gave me the biggest bestest surprise EVER!!!
I have been wanting to go to school to become a professional photographer.... nothing major at first just some family photos and low key weddings.... Well he gave me my camera!!!! Yes he did!!!! I am still learning how to use it, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.... I will have to get more lenses and flashes eventually, but I am very excited..... If you are in the Utah area and would like to be my first victim/client... let me know :)
Anyways, so Sat morning after spending some time cleaning the house up, we made a gingerbread house together as a family. We had so much fun and even taught Alyssa some of her colors....
I took some pics on my cell phone which will have to come on a later post.
After dinner is when we went downstairs for all the "girls" to open a present... I didn't know I was included, but my hubby knew I was stressing over my missing camera, so it gave me my gift early.... He says it is making up for all the birthdays he hadn't bought me gifts because he usually goes back to work right around my birthday, so we are broke from the winter off.
These pics are just me playing with my camera :)

We dimmed the lights to see how the pic would turn out....
Then we played with the dark settings on the camera..... see the difference??? I love this feature!!!
Pitch black with 0 flash and this is how well it turned out :)
Yes, I know we have a lot of presents...... At least 15 people have presents under that tree though!
My mom's village... she does a nice job! Again pitch black with no flash.
My kids have been begging to make cookies for Santa for weeks.... I told them we had to wait until the week before... My daughter did not miss that Today was a week before.....
We got out of our church clothes and into some lounge clothes and away we went... Each year we trace the kid's (freshly washed) hand to make a cookie for Santa.... It's also fun for them to see how big their hands are.... We used a new dough this year and their hands blew up like balloons once baked.... We will be making them again!!

Coming to save my sanity LOL We wore our lazy clothes not realize my hubby was gonna confiscate my camera and take tons of pics!

Kev and Dad were goofing off.... What's new?

My hubby made us all pose by the tree.... weird guy... You know you love my leopard print pants.

 Chocolate face!
Posing.... Which NEVER happens... She is normally hiding her face!
 Goofball 1
 Goofball 2
Yes, I made him pose too with his shorts and church socks... A Sunday favorite lol

We had a pretty awesome weekend.... I owe you a few pictures of the gingerbread house and kids opening gifts..... Coming soon....
Pray for me, I have my scope tomorrow morning (in like 8 hours). Hoping they find out what is making me so sick!!

April, May and June 2011 Part 2

Kaitlyn's kindergarten class went on a field trip to Treehouse Museum.
I got to come along, and help out. Kait loved that!!

They did a cute little play and Kait got to be in it... she is the one on the left... I was on the wrong side to get a good picture.

Exploring the museum with her friend Rachael!

Random cute pics of our kids!!

Mother's Day.... My dessert!.... NOT!! Alyssa's Birthday! Her dessert!!
I can't believe she is 2.... Oh and she just woke up

Now it is time for Mother's Day..... Not sure why I look so mad in the first pic....

My hubby made cards for me with the kids :)

More time with Grandma... She was home for a short time...

Uncle Dave :) We love this guy!

I wound up in the hospital with a suspected appendicitis.... Not a fun time....
Hence my medical journey began!

Brittany had her first T-Ball game.... Her first time in any sport!! She was so cute and little up there, but she did not have a clue what to do :)
Ian was on the same team
 Uncle Troy was Coach
 Yay!!! Brittany Graduated Preschool!

Just Yummy treats... no significance ;)

This is around the time I started blogging very regularly....
So Alyssa got her first hair cute, got a real party and loved it. The party... not the hair cut ;)
My sweet Stacey turned 1.
Lots and Lots of Tball and Soccer.....
Someone had a crush on Kaitlyn and sent a card home saying he loved her :)
Sadly many more boys have had crushes on her since then.
Then My hubby and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.... That rounded out May... Onto June...
My friend Diane came to visit me and we went to temple square.
Lots and lots of tball soccer and horses....
Even a little swim time was involved :)
