Spring Carnival 2011 (Kait's School)

This was a super fun day with the family! Kaitlyn earned 2 free punch passes for being a good student. She makes me very proud to be her mother. I think she liked her rewards.

Kaitlyn and Brittany on the BIG slide :)
Crazy hair in the bounce house :)
 The look of determination!

Alyssa did not like the rides so the best Poppy ever took her to play on the playground!
She fell and got hurt :(
She seemed to like the games though!

Yummy treats for everyone!

 A little friendly competition.
What a good big sister helping Alyssa.
I'm the Queen of the world.

Well, she was a good sister until she sent her down the slide head first. Then the mommy got a little scared!
So, I decided to send Daddy up with her and he just sends her down by herself. Guess next time I will take her myself LOL.

All the loot they brought home from the carnival.

Misc May photos.

May 2011
Britt's hair was a "little" static-y after jumping on the trampoline.
Kait jumping on the trampoline. She looks like she is having a good time!
Britt jumping on the trampoline. This pics looks like it isn't in 3D LOL. She had a great time!
Mommy was jumping on the trampoline too!
Um grandpa, Do you think you could move your seat up?? I may be small, but I still need leg room!
Brittany was climbing on me when we just woke up, and wanted a picture.
This is what my mornings look like... 2-3 kids climbing all over me!
Alyssa was a little nervous about the car wash. This picture doesn't capture it all, but she was gasping and covering her mouth. :)
Brittany wouldn't stop staring out the window. She thought it was cool!
Kaitlyn was just having a great time laughing at Alyssa. LOL

Memorial Day weekend

Happy Memorial Day to everyone. I hope we all took advantage of this special holiday to remember those who have gone before us. Especially to honor those who died fighting for our freedom!

I thought this picture was a nice fit for a Memorial day post... This is a pic from the my grandpa's cemetery.

Friday, After a very LONG day (at a car dealership and credit union), we all got together for dinner at Garcia's. I love their food!!

Alyssa decided that grandpa needed help eating all those olives off of his nachos. She quickly changed her mind after grandpa talked her into trying a "green olive." It was a jalepeno, and she was not happy with him!
She decided she would just feed him after that!

Saturday, we took advantage of some family time. We had 22 people at Lagoon. Sandee, Randy, Laurie, Matthew, Abby, Geoff, Latasha, Nathen, Hailee, My mom (Downstairs Grandma), My dad (Poppy), Kev's Dad (Silly Grandpa), Kev's Mom (Silly Grandma), Troy, Veronica, Emily, Ian, Kaitlyn, Brittany, Alyssa, Kevin and I. We had a pretty great time until it started raining at about 7p.m.
This is a pic of Alyssa on one of the rides.
Hailee.. what a stylish baby.
All the kids waiting for the train... well almost all the kids (Abby, Matthew and Hailee are missing).
Choo choo. They are yelling that very loudly thanks to Silly Grandpa and Downstairs Grandma. I think I had a massive headache after this ride LOL
I kept telling my mom there was a turtle, but she never believed me LOL
She has been telling us for 2 or 3 years there was a turtle, but we just kept teasing her about it :)

Monday, I was sick, so I didn't make it to Grandpa's grave. I felt a little better on Tuesday, so we went to see his grave and take some pictures.

I love to see all the flowers on the graves... gone but not forgotten!
Lots of flags too. Thank you for your service!
Poppy, Grandma, Kaitlyn, Brittany, and Alyssa Visiting grandpa's grave.
I made someone take a pic of me. Grandma, Kaitlyn, Brittany, Alyssa and me (Mom).
We stopped by to see grandma with toys in the bedroom before we went home. She took herself off of oxygen, and she seems to be doing just fine!

Overall, we had a pretty great weekend. Of course it wasn't without some drama, but what do you expect when you get that many people together. We had some great family time. We got to play quite a bit of cards too which I love. I love playing games with family and friends :) When people remember me, I'm sure that is one thing that they will remember!

Alyssa's knock knock joke

So Alyssa apparently aspires to be a comedian when she is older. Her sisters think she is quite funny at the ripe old age of 2. She just turned 2 less than a month ago.

Alyssa: "Knock, knock"
Kait and Britt: "Who's there?"
Alyssa: "Apple"
Kait and Britt: "Apple who?"
Alyssa: Apple juice
Kait and Britt: (while laughing) "Alyssa, you are so funny"

Kaitlyn: "knock, knock"
Alyssa: "Come in"
Kait, Britt and I were all laughing. She is so funny!!
