The perspective of a 4 and 6 year old..... not too far off (lqtm)

So my older 2 girls are sitting at the table eating lunch. I walk out of the room which obviously means I can't possibly hear what they are saying. I didn't hear how the conversation began exactly, but this is the part of the conversation I did hear.

B: So, mom is a farmer.
K: Ya, mom and dad are both farmers because all the kids are like animals.
B: So it's like we all live on a farm.
K: Yes mom and dad are farmers raising the kids which are animals.
(At this point I am quietly thinking to myself.... now that is more accurate than they think lol)
B: Well if I have to be an animal, can I be a frog? I really like frogs.
K: Brittany (in an exasperated tone) Frogs don't live on farms
B: Well ok then what animal am I
K: You are a dog...

.....a while later in the conversation
K: no you are not a dog.... You are a snake, a sneaky little snake
B: I thought we were supposed to be farm animals
K: Britt-a-ny (in a total valley girl tone as if saying you are such a pain)
B: Ok, I'll be a snake and you can be the pretty horse.

Can anyone tell who the sweet one is?? LOL

  1. This cracked me up! I can definitely see my kids having the same conversation, only the conversation at our house would probably turn into a full-blown argument landing one or both of my girls in their room.
